Zero waste is now becoming a buzzword for residential societies and cities at large. However, achieving a zero waste society is fraught with a unique set of challenges. The mandate of zero waste cannot be reached without a sustainable ecosystem.

 Anil Sharma, RWA president of Ashiana Upvan, Indirapuram talks to our City Spidey edit team about the objective with which his society had started the zero waste drive. He also elaborated on the challenges and his expectations from the government in terms of resolving these.
