Ghaziabad: Plant, prune, repeat!

Youth Network Ghaziabad (YNG) conducted a clean and green drive at Diamond flyover, Shastri Nagar, on Sunday morning. 

The group, whose motto is "Clean Ghaziabad, Green Ghaziabad", and have quite a bit to make Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation greener.

They have repaired broken pots and repainted them, removed weeds from planters, watered the plants and planted 900 saplings in the area. The group has been conducting a number of such green drives in the city.

Ghaziabad MLA Suresh Bansal, Greenman Vijay Pal Bhagel and son of Ghaziabad mayor Kushagra Verma were also present to boost the team's morale.

"We not only intend to plant more trees, but also nurture the ones that have been neglected," said Mayank Chaudhary, president of YNG. "Please join us on our Facebook page and help make Ghaziabad a cleaner, greener city."
