Arbitrary hike in school fees has irked the parents in Noida to no end. They have been protesting against the schools for a while. But now, they are knocking at the doors of the power corridors – Union Human Resource Development.

Noida MLA Bimla Batham told City Spidey that she is going to meet Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani tomorrow at 5 pm to apprise her about the issue of fee hike. She has taken the decision after meeting a delegation of Parents Association of Noida School Children at her office in Sector 58 on Monday.

Besides president of the association Neeti Srivastava, active members, such as Harendra Bhati, Chandan Batra and Aalok Nagar were present during the meeting. Batham assured them that she would not let the private schools resort to arbitrary fee hike in future.

Srivastawa said, "We have got a relief from the current development. We are happy that the MLA responded to us promptly and hope that something positive will come out after her meeting with the HRD Minister tomorrow.”
