The Indian meteorological department issued a warning on Monday that thunderstorm will hit various parts of Uttar Pradesh.
Following the alert, the Ghaziabad district administration has ordered all city schools and colleges to remain closed on Tuesday.
Ritu Maheshwari, district magistrate of Ghaziabad informed in a late night tweet that the city schools and colleges will remain closed on May 8.
