Traffic problems in Noida are aggravated by citizens complete disregard towards rules and regulations. People are frequently found driving on the wrong side at almost every roundabout in the city.

The Noida traffic police however, seems to be unable to counter this problem. Among the 1,42,946 challans issued in 2017, only 7051 were for driving on the wrong lane. Meanwhile, although the year 2018 has witnessed 5,481 challans till the end of March, only 1,315 among them have been generated for wrong-side driving.

Driving on the wrong side can be fatal and the recent accident in Gurgaon is a tragic proof of the same.
