In order to provide free treatment to kids suffering from congenital disorders, a District Early Intervention Center (DEIC) was launched in Noida’s govt. district hospital on Friday.

It is the third such center in the state and was inaugurated by Minister for family welfare and women and child development, UP, Rita Bahuguna Joshi.

These kinds of centers are being set up in all districts of UP where kids up to the age of nineteen years will receive medical care. Further, Anganwadi centers and schools will also fall under them and facilities have been developed in these places for treatment of kids.

Eight mobile health teams are working in Gautam Budh Nagar and they have been instrumental in offering free medical care to 2,823 kids.

Rita Bahuguna Joshi said that the opening of this new center in Noida will be helpful in offering better treatment to children.
