Residents of Divine Meadows in Sector 108, Noida, have declared war against the builder, who disconnected electricity of around 60 flats today over non-payment of bills on time.
But there are grave irregularities in the prepaid meter installed by the builder, complain residents. Even when there's no connection, the meter shows a reading. And sometimes, the reading is in negative.
The builder is taking bills in the name of the company that doesn’t exist at all, the residents further complained.
Making matters worse, the builder has not been paying maintenance charges to the company hired to carry out maintenance.
Desperate, residents have lodged a compliant against the builder with Sector 39 police station.
