A 45-year-old woman died after being shot at her home in Pochanpur Village in Sector 23, Dwarka, on Monday morning.
She was rushed to the nearby hospital where she was declared dead. Unknown bike-borne assailants shot at her at around 10 am, said the police.
The woman has been identified as Kamlesh, wife of late Rajbir.
According to sources, prima facie, it appears a case of gang war. After the death of her husband, Kamlesh was living with Monu, who has been embroiled in local gang war.
Earlier this year, Monu and his associate Akshay were allegedly arrested for the murder of local gangster named Sandeep Mental with whom they had a long standing property dispute.
