A day before Makar Sankranti—the harvest festival—the residents of several high-rises in Greater Noida West celebrated the occasion with great fanfare on Sunday.

Nearly 300 residents from several societies like Eco Village 1 and 2, Panchsheel Greens, La Residentia, Paramount Emotions and others gathered at Harika farmhouse and celebrated the occasion by participating in kite flying and other cultural activities.

People also enjoyed various dishes on the occasion like the famous Bihari dish dahi chura (curd and beaten rice). The event was hosted by NEFOWA (Noida Extension Flat Owners Association).
