A resident of Royal Nest Apartments, a high-rise in Greater Noida West, on Thursday escaped uninjured when the false ceiling of the bathroom of his flat crumbled down!

Deepak Sharma, the survivor and the owner of ground floor flat N/108, while narrating the incident told City Spidey, "As soon as I opened the door of my bathroom, the false ceiling, all of a sudden, fell down! Luckily, I did not get hurt."

Sharma, without any delay, informed the management of the society about it and asked them to get it repaired as soon as possible.

"Initially, the management was reluctant to claim the responsibility and refused to repair it but later admitted its mistake and agreed to do so after insisting," Sharma added.

It was not the first time when the family faced an issue related to maintenance services.

“Around two months back, we had to face a flood-like situation when the house got filled with water. The reason for such a mess was due to the absence of water sprinklers in the flat. However, the management later installed the facility.”

Nearly 300 families live in this high-rise residential society which is not more than a year old!
