A video, raising serious questions on traffic rules and road safety, is out in public. The 15-second footage shows a school boy getting riding lessons from a man on Kavi Nagar's Diamond flyover in Ghaziabad. It was disturbing as both were not wearing helmets.
Though the man, the pillion rider, can be seen guiding him during the 'training', underage driving or riding is illegal as per laid norms. Also, deliberate attempts like these may invite fatal road mishaps.
Commenting on the video, SN Singh, SP Traffic (Ghaziabad) said “The irresponsible behaviour of the man riding the scooty is criminal in nature. "He took risk of two lives, his and the child who he appeared to be giving riding lessons," Singh said.
“Though the registration number of the vehicle is not clear in the video, we will try to find the vehicle through scanning CCTV footages of the area and will take strict action,” Singh added.
