Samrat Apartments, a Cooperative Group Housing Society in Vasundhara Enclave of East Delhi, elected its new executive committee on Sunday.
LK Sikri was elected as the new president. JR Malik, VK Bansal and PK Kapoor were chosen as vice-president, secretary and treasurer respectively. The society consists of 185 flats and has more than seven hundred residents.
Speaking to City Spidey, President Sikri said that his priority will be the overall development of society. “Well-maintained parks and proper water and electricity to all households are my immediate goals. Over my tenure I would want our society to be like one big family,” he added.
The society elects a new committee every three years.
