The RWA of Sector 47, Noida, has renewed their demand for a market. Residents of the sector, developed eight years ago, travel nearly a kilometre to reach the nearest market.
An area within the sector, earmarked with a prominent signboard for a commercial complex, has been lying vacant for years. "We have made several requests to Noida Development Authority for a market. Recently, we sent them a reminder," said RWA Secretary Vijendra Pal Singh.
When contacted by City Spidey, RS Yadav, Project Engineer, NDA, said, "The proposal for a market in the sector is under active consideration."
