After the election held at Gardenia Square, a high rise society in Crossings Republik, nine members formed the new Apartment Owners Association (AOA) board on Sunday. All the members were elected unopposed because of insufficient nominations.

Voting did not happen because only nine nominations were filed for nine positions. Out of nine members, four new faces made their way to the new AOA.

Speaking on the way forward, Vivek Sharma, Vice President of AOA said that overhauling of security and maintenance of the society is in the priority list. “Housekeeping and garbage collection is in shambles. Garbage is collected once in a week which is inadequate for 240 families living in the society,” he said.

“Besides, security guards are not fit and active. They are aged and cannot do vigilance actively. We will change them too,” Sharma added.
