Residents of Nirala Greenshire, a high rise residential society in Noida Extension, on Sunday staged a protest against the developer, highlighting lack of basic amenities, misbehaving with an elderly woman and tethering with the monthly electricity bills.

A resident, on the condition of anonymity, complained that parking lots are illegally being converted into sales office. Earlier, an elderly woman was mistreated by an on-duty female guard in the parking lot of the society.

“Residents have been facing inconvenience due to non-allotment of the parking lot. But when they demanded it, on-duty sales officials as well watchmen behave rudely with them,” he added.

A complaint has been filed with Bisrakh Police station. Henceforth, a letter has been issued addressing the director of the realty company to take appropriate action and stop the ongoing criminal activities in and outside society.

The police also instructed the developer to install CCTV cameras and sufficient lights around the society to strengthen the security. The developer was given fifteen-day time to comply with the letter.
