Residents of Eco-Village—2 in Greater Noida West have complained about waterlogging in their basement area of the building, making it a heavenly place for mosquitos.

According to the residents, last week's rainwater is stuck in the basement area and the management has failed to get rid of it.

Residents alleged that they have been raising the waterlogging issues with the management. However, the condition remains the same, even after a week. Pankaj Dube, who lives in Tower B, said, “Entire basement is filled with garbage, water and mosquitos are breeding there. The basement of my Tower B is in a pathetic condition. Waterlogging not only results in mosquito breading but also weakens the strength building's pillars.”

Residents were worried that if the situation prevails for few more days, then vector-borne diseases will start. Although the management has started some towards it, it'snot cleaned so far. Residents of Tower B are most affected,” Dube added.

Meanwhile, CitySpidey tried to get in touch with the society management, but they did not respond to our calls.
