A Delhi Development Authority (DDA) park in sector 3 remains in dark for most of the time. A couple of years ago, a light was installed in the middle of the park but that hardly functions.
Residents claimed that the light never works for more than two days in a stretch if repaired. The situation worsened after the lights on tracks also stopped working around two weeks ago. JC Malhotra, Welcome CGHS Sector 3, told CitySpidey that the park, which is in the vicinity of eight societies, is used by some negative elements after dark and that makes the whole surrounding of the park and nearby societies unsafe.
