In yet another chain-snatching incident, two men on motorcycle snatched a gold chain from a woman, who is a resident of Greater Noida's Gaur city, on Tuesday.
Ragini Kumari, a resident, had come out of her society to pick her children from the school bus when the two men allegedly grabbed her gold chain and fled the spot.
The snatching cases are on the rise in the city and the residents have been expressing their anger over such incidents, following which the police have decided to hold a meeting with public on August 31.
Following the incident, people gathered around Ragini and consoled her after which she dialed 100 and informed the police.
An FIR about the incident has been registered in Bisrakh Police station.
