FIR registered against five men in Gaur city Galleria Market thrashing incident

Forty hours after a resident of Gaur city in Greater Noida was thrashed by five men at Galleria market located inside the township, an FIR is registered in Bisrakh police station on Wednesday against the five accused men.

Saurav Sharma, a resident of Gaur city-2, was thrashed by the men while he had gone to buy groceries on Monday night. The incident took place at the Galleria market in Gaur city and was recorded on a CCTV footage.

The CitySpidey was first to grab the CCTV footage and break the story. 

The five accused have been booked under section 147 (rioting), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 384 (extortion),506 (criminal intimidation), 307 (attempt to murder) of  Indian Penal Code (IPC). 

Saurav in his complaint on Tuesday had mentioned that one Deepak and four other men had side-lined and thrashed him with baseballs bats because he had denied selling his house to them. 

He had said that the accused were pressurizing him and also demanding money.
