Free yoga camp has Dwarka residents flocking in

Hundreds of Dwarka residents are making way to the free yoga camp, on since June 9, at the subcity's DDA district park in Sector 10. An initiative of DDA, Patanjali Yog Sansthan and Ayush Ministry, participants include school children, teachers, women and senior citizens.

"Hundreds of people are joining us at the camp every day. People from all age groups are present, enthusiastic about learning new asanas. Children are being  specifically trained for a special event on International Yoga Day, June 21," said Youth coordinator of Patanjali Yog Sansthan, Manmohan Gupta.

"The camp is a new experience for me," said Amrita Shukla, a residents of Sector 11. "I plan to continue practicing even after the camp."

"Free yoga mats and t-shirts will be distributed at the camp," said Gupta. "This is an effort to promote yoga in the community."
