The Special Cell of Delhi Police on Monday arrested a criminal who was wanted in five different cases at Sector 23 in Dwarka.
As per the Twitter handle of Special Cell, police was successful in catching Kuldeep Rathi after a shootout at Dwarka.
When Special Cell personnel blocked his way, the 33-year-old criminal opened fire at them. Rathi received injury on left leg during defensive counter-fire. He is out of danger now.
The criminal was previously involved in many heinous crimes like murder, armed robbery, extortion etc.
Rathi was last arrested in a 2014 case. He was declared proclaimed offender in many cases.
Police recovered a semi-automatic pistol and a stolen motorcycle.
