Noida: Going a step ahead with precautionary measures for keeping the spread of coronavirus under control, the district administration of Gautam Budh Nagar on Sunday ordered closure of all cinema halls, multiplexes and gymnasiums in Noida and Greater Noida with immediate effect.
These institutions would be closed up to March 31, the order said.
According to the order, in compliance to a notification issued by the state health department, this decision was taken in public interest.
The district administration directed all owners, operators, and management of these institutions that these premises have to be closed entirely for above mentioned period of time.
The order further read that any violation would be an offense under Section 188 (disobedience to the order) of Indian Penal Code.
