Sunday, 21st Central park and the prominent squares of Shipra Suncity got alive with men and women in symbolic black kurta dress code performing with tambourine in hand. Sukh Manch’ theatre group was there with a mighty script for the street play.

They danced, they clapped, they sang, they were there with a message to communicate - “Understand the fragility of our environment and the importance of its protection.” The event was organised by Walk The Himalayas (WTH) in association with AOA Shipra Suncity ph-1 and Sukhmanch Street Theatre Group.

While the audience were mesmerised with the performance, organisers gifted some saplings to the children and individuals who attended the event. Audience surely went home with a soothing memory of the scintillating performance of the group and a determination to work on issues like deforestation, water conservation and increasing use of plastic etc.
