Durga Puja at Gaur Saundaryam was an all inclusive affair

Residents of Gaur Saundaryam, a high rise in Greater Noida West, celebrated Durga Puja with traditional fervour and gaiety. They organised cultural events like rendition of devotional songs, recitations of hymns and shlokas, singing and dancing.

The celebration started with puja on October 4 followed by cultural and religious programmes with the participation of adults and children alike.

At a jagran (nightlong vigil) held on the occasion, the residents took part in folk dances. The children of the society added vibrancy to the celebrations.

Manoranjan Mishra, a resident of the society, proudly recounted how children acted in Ramleela alongside adults while women took part in a dance programme. 

Prabhat Tiwari, another resident, said asserted that they organise every festival in the society with such zeal and grandeur.
