Delhi: In a horrific incident which shook the students, ceiling plaster fell at students at a school run by Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) in Jafrabad, East Delhi on Tuesday.
Three girl students got injured in the incident. They were soon taken to nearest hospital. The injuries didn't turn out to be serious.
As per the information, kids studying in class 5 got scared when a piece of plaster fell over head of a girl. Plaster continued to fall for few minutes injuring two others.
Panicked student ran towards the gate and called the guard.
Parents of injured student said, “It could have been a big incident. The buildings of MCD schools are in shabby state. It can fall anytime. Our kids are not safe in school. Concerned authority should have been taken appropriate action earlier.”
Councillor Reshma said, “We complained about it so many times but no action was taken. We are surviving at a very less fund for school maintenance.”
