Greater Noida: Amid court hearing in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy (IBC) matters against AVJ Heights, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) appointed an Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) to take care of the residential society in Greater Noida West.

In the appointment of the IRP, the residents of the society have got a major relief after a private firm (BPG India) had been handed over its maintenance. Be it maintenance, security system or illegal charges, there has been a relentless conflict between the residents and the management.

With the principal bench of the NCLT appointing the IRP to resolve the matter, the residents can take a sigh of relief. The residents are happy that their voice has finally been heard in the court. They are hopeful of a concrete verdict in their favour from the NCLT.

Adesh Saini, a resident said, "We are happy that IRP has been appointed. After takeover of the charge, the IRP has hired a private firm to look after the daily maintenance. The matter is still with the NLCT and the bank accounts of AVJ developer is being checked and mismanagement of funds will soon come out."
