53 new coronavirus cases reported in GB Nagar

Noida: A total of 2,208 positive cases have been reported so far from Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Budh Nagar with 53 fresh coronavirus cases including a deputy collector tested positive on Monday.

With recovery of 211 patients during the 24-hour period, a total number of people who were discharged rose to 1,430 as per the UP's daily health bulletin. The district has so far recorded 22 deaths due to coronavirus.

The number of active cases in the district has come down to 756 who are being treated at various hospitals. 

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh’s active case counted to 6,650, while 15,506 patients have been discharged. Covid-19 fatalities in the state now reached 672.
