Noida: Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Budh Nagar recorded 97 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday increasing the district tally of positive cases to 2,304 as per the UP's daily health bulletin.

With recovery of 76 patients during the 24-hour period, the total number of people, who were discharged, rose to 1,506 as per the UP's daily health bulletin. The district has so far recorded 22 deaths due to coronavirus.

The number of active cases in the district counted to 776 who are being treated at various hospitals.

Meanwhile, the state government on Tuesday issued guidelines for the next phase of the coronavirus lockdown from July 1 to 31. Schools, colleges and educational institutions will remain closed till July 31, however online classes will continue in the state.

Apart from that, metro rail services, cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums and political and large gatherings will also be prohibited in the state.

So far, Uttar Pradesh’s active cases counted to 6,711, while 16,084 patients have been discharged. Covid-19 fatalities in the state now reached 697.
