Delhi reported 37 deaths on Sunday taking the toll to 3,371. Relieved by the low fatality rate, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal lauded the role of pulse oximeter for patients in home isolation.
“Delhi has been able to minimise deaths of Corona patients in home isolation through this ‘suraksha kavach’ called pulse oximeter. If patients detect that their oxygen is falling then they reach out to us for help. We immediately send oxygen concentrators to their home or take them to a hospital,” he tweeted.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia praised the efforts of coronavirus warriors in improving the situation. He tweeted, “Delhi has seen a reassuring decrease in the number of new cases in the past few weeks. Credit goes to the #CoronaWarriors, doctors & medical teams all over Delhi!”
