Gaur City-2: NEFOMA protests against installation of milk booth at green belt

Greater Noida: Residents of Gaur City-2, 14th Avenue, a highrise residential society in Greater Noida West on Sunday staged a protest against installation of a milk booth in green belt, outside the society boundary wall.

The protest was done under the banner of Noida Extension Flat Owners Main Association (NEFOMA). 

They complained that the green belt was developed by the residents for sitting in sunlight during the winter season. But a milk booth has been installed inside the green belt. “It is an act of encroaching common facilities available for residents,” one of them said. 

Residents alleged that installation of the milk booth in the green belt has caused losses to the environment. They claimed that they planted saplings in the area to increase the green cover. But they have been damaged by placing the milk booth.      

Annu Khan, president of NEFOMA, Rashmi Pandey, General Secretary, Preeti Singh, Usha Rana, Chandra Datt, Akabar Ali, Virendra Suri, Umesh Kumar Singh, Avinash, Khalida, Mahaveer Thussu, Himanshu Kushavaha protested against installation of milk booth.
