Dwarka: A leopard has created a havoc in the Najafgarh area near Dwarka. Many videos have gone viral, in which the leopard is seen attacking persons and animals.
In a video, the leopard attacked persons moving on a bike, they somehow escape from there. In the other video, the leopard is hunting a dog.
As the videos got viral, people in nearby villages have got frightened. They are worried over their cattle and started to have a constant vigil on them.
The forest department has also started alerting the people. They have asked people to inform the department as soon as they see the leopard and also appealed to them to stay away from the leopard.
They have appealed to people to keep the children and pets inside the homes and suggested people to refrain from going out in the night.
Three teams of forest department are deployed in the area. Movement of people was restricted on few roads near Najafgarh drain. According to forest department, the leopard was frequently seen in these areas.
As per an official from forest department, there is no forest area near to the Najafgarh area. He is said that it surprising how the leaopard has come to this area.
The first video of leopard had went viral on January 27.
