New Delhi: Don’t you sometimes wish you could’ve attended your parents’ wedding? I mean, hear me out on this absurd proposition. You could’ve styled your mom better. Perhaps told your dad to not look so grumpy in the photos.
Heck, taught them some decent poses that didn’t involve resting their chin on their hands and tilting their heads sideways! Me, I’d totally have hogged all their limelight though. Which is exactly what this little girl did at her parents’ wedding because she was lucky enough to get to attend it?
I know, this could be a controversial situation here in our country, but where Instagram user @saradiane_ is from, it’s okay for couples to have children before they tie the knot. Or for people with kids to get married again. And we’re glad because how else would we get to see this gem of a viral video that is equal parts hilarious and adorable?
The Instagram user, Sara Wickman, posted a video of her wedding day, where she and her husband were all set to make their vows. And normally at this point, the attention is supposed to be all on the blushing bride and the beaming groom. But here, somebody else was hogging all the attention – their daughter!
The little girl was playing the oldest trick in the kiddie playbook, which is to lie down flat on her stomach, in her cute white dress, and just throw mockingly furtive glances at her mom, in the hopes that she picks her up and gives her some attention!
Of course, the little one had all the guests laughing and completely distracted from the wedding ceremony. And I’m pretty sure this is the best kind of drama that a wedding can have! But it is actually Part 2 of the wedding video that gets even more cute.
The little girl got her wish, and Momma did pick her up, just in time for the ring ceremony. But in the process of holding her in her arms, Momma dropped the ring, which made for anther LOL-worthy moment!
