Ajay Devgn's 'Runway 34' official trailer launch

Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh came to Delhi on April 11, 2022, to promote their film 'Runway 34'. Ajay Devgn will be seen playing the role of a pilot of an airplane and Rakul will be playing his co-pilot. Runway 34, is all set to take off around April 29, 2022.

Ajay Devgn is performing three roles in the film: the lead actor, the director and the producer, in this story inspired by true events. The film revolves around Captain Vikrant Khanna played by Devgn who tries his best to escape a natural disaster.

During the grand event launch in Delhi, Ajay Devgan shared that performing any role is difficult as it takes time to learn about the character. He added that he learned technical details from the pilot of a plane about how to run a plane. all this took time. He further added that shooting in the cockpit was quite tough because of the small place of the plane.

Devgn also shared why he changed the name of the movie from 'MayDay' to 'Runway 34'. Ajay Devgan mentioned that 'Mayday' means the emergency state or the last-minute hope, but when he came to know about so many people who don't know about 'the meaning of Mayday' he changed it to Runway 34 as the plane is going to land on Runway 34.

Further, Devgan added that this movie will help evoke interest in youngsters about aviation and will learn about the work pressure that a cabinet crew and the ATC faces while working.

Besides Devgn, the movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani among others in pivotal roles. Ever since the release of its trailer last month, the movie has been creating a huge craze among the people and they are looking forward to watching it on the big screen on April 29, 2022.
