The ongoing construction of the Bhangel Flyover in Noida has given rise to rampant dust pollution in the area. The residents and the commuters are facing difficulties due to it.

Nisha Rai, NOFFA General Secretary Zone 2 says, “This is a major problem in this area and Authority should control the dust pollution as a routine. If Noida authorities are facing any challenges, they must share them with residents. Most residents would be happy to contribute towards reducing dust pollution. Why do we have to tag CPCB always, why aren't the bodies vigilant themselves. Moreover, the biggest problem is that Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board and Gautam Budh Nagar pollution control board are not active on Twitter.”
Pushkar Chandna, a retired senior engineer who lives in sector 110 says, “Now, Noida Authority should take action as soon as possible. It is very important to control dust pollution in the construction areas. Noida Authority should install proper gadgets to control dust pollution and noise pollution.”
Noida Authority aims to complete the Bhangel flyover by August this year, four months ahead of its deadline. This 4.5-kilometre flyover being built over the Dadri-Surajpur-Chhalera (DSC) road, will ease the traffic between Aghapur and Sector 82.
