Sukh Dukh Ke Sathi Sanstha observe World Environment Day

Dwarka: Sukh Dukh Ke Sathi(SDKS), a social organisation of senior citizens in Dwarka, observed Environment Day at sector 22 DDA park. On the occasion, community members from various sectors and societies came together for a plantation drive. They later discussed methods to save the environment.

Water activist Diwan Singh and RTI and environment activist Ramesh Mumukshu, both from Dwarka were present as special guests. Jagmohan Mishra retired from the Telecom department, Government of India presided over the function.

Diwan Singh and Ramesh Mumukshu shared their views and experience of working toward the environment. They emphasised how the community could save the environment and how we need a healthy environment for our survival.

President of SDKS, SS Mann says, “It was a wonderful event. We all came together and talked about saving the environment which is the need of the hour. SDKS has been involved in several activities to conserve the environment and we are getting a good response from the community.”
