25 cyclists from Greater Noida West's cycling clubs Crossings Republic and All About Exploring came together for a cycle ride to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in Connaught Place to observe Prakash Purab of Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji. The cyclist rode approx 65 km from Greater Noida West to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in Connaught Place. Later, they also enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast at the Gurudwara.

The best part of this ride was that riders irrespective of age, sex, and background joined each other for a high-energy ride. The eldest rider was R. S. Uppal (70) and the youngest was Kartik Sharma (13).

Rajsuta Gangwar, a member of the All about exploring cycle group and a resident of Paramount Symphony says, “Cycling is not just limited to a weekend sport for me but is part of my daily life. I also encourage my kin to start cycling, as it is the most integral part of life.”

Priyanka Guin and Ashima Gupta, owners of a private cycle company say, "Cycling should be chosen as a lifestyle choice. We switched to cycling as it is cheaper, healthier and greener."

Akanksha Singh, Cyclist from All about exploring and resident of Crossing Republik says, “Cycling is the best way to reduce one’s carbon footprint. We do not call ourselves activists but this is the least we can do to save the environment."

Naveen Upadhyay, a cyclist from Crossings Cycle Club, and a resident of Crossings Republik say, “Around two years ago, I was diagnosed with diabetes and my doctor advised me to increase my physical activity. Going to the gym was not an option as my schedule is quite hectic. Cycling has been very healthy for me as I enjoy it too."

Nishi Modgil, a cyclist from All About Exploring and resident of Supertech Livingston, Crossings Republik says, “I am an avid runner but while browsing through the runners' WhatsApp group, I got introduced to the cycling group through imaginative and vivacious reels shared by Rajsuta. So I gathered courage, repaired my cycle and started my cycling journey with 'All About Exploring'. This hobby has become a passion for me. I can't imagine a day without cycling now."

Nidhi Pandey, a cyclist from 'All about exploring' and resident of Paramount Symphony says, “While cycling on the road, people often encourage us by saying ‘good job’ or ‘keep it up'. Many even give a thumbs-up and that boosts my confidence. There are a few cyclists who feel like celebrities on the roads."

Prateem Kumar Goon, Cyclist of Crossing Cycling Club and resident of Assotech The Nest says, “I have completed my 200kms, 300kms, 400kms and 600kms. In this group, we have 15-20 cyclists who are riding 50-100 km daily. We usually cycle from the Crossing Republic to Tilapta which comes under Greater Noida District. The other routes always seem busy because of huge traffic flow on both ends so we all choose the Tilapta one."

Vimal Pal, Cyclist of Crossing Cycling club and Resident of Crossing Republik says, “I love to ride on the greater Noida route because of its wide roads, greenery on both sides, and most importantly, less traffic and rider safety."
