Indirapuram: The celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi is going on in full swing across Indirapuram. Several residential societies in Indirapuram such as GC Grand, HRC Professional Hub and Prantic Cultural Society, a cultural society in Indirapuram brought eco-friendly Ganpati home to as to not harm the environment.

On September 4, 2022, residents of HRC Professional Hub society, Vaibhav Khand, performed Ganpati Visarjan in a water drum in order to welcome Lord Ganesha next year. They celebrated the occasion with dance, music and colours.

According to Mohit Mishra, a resident of the HRC Professional Hub society, "This time, we have decided to do Visarjan in our society in a water drum since our Ganpati is eco-friendly. After that, we will bring that water back to our homes and use it to water our plants."

Prantic Cultural Society also did the Ganpati Visarjan of their eco-friendly idol on September 1, 2022 in the SPS Market in Vaibhav Khand, Indirapuram.

On September 3, 2022, GC Grand society celebrated the Ganpati Visarjan in their society with music and dance. The residents of the whole housing society got together to celebrate the occasion. Amrish Garg, a resident of GC Grand Society tells us that around 400 people were present at the visarjan. Several women brought food from their homes and had a community lunch in the Pandal with everyone.
