Durga Puja Pandals all decked up to welcome Dwarka residents

Dwarka: After two long years, the Durga Puja Pandals in Dwarka and in other areas of Delhi are going to see a huge footfall. With so many Durga Puja Pandals in Dwarka, it is difficult to decide which one to go to. The big celebration of Durga Puja will start with Anand Mela in pandals on September 30, 2022, and the Durga Puja pandals will open for devotees from October 1, 2022. The preparations for the same are in full swing. The tents, pandals, and food stalls have been set up, security is in place and Goddess Durga has also arrived in the Pandals.

Surya Mishra, a priest of Dwarka Kalibari says, "After two years, Dwarka people will see celebration this big and we are trying our level best to make this Durga Puja memorable for them. Preparations are almost done but still, the main stage and entrance decorations are going on. Dwarka Kalibari and every devotee is eagerly waiting to seek blessings of Maa Durga."

Sandeep Modak, Join Secretary, IT and Publication, of Dwarka Bangiya Samajh, says, "From decorative pieces to tents, everything is prepared here from scratch, setting it apart from all other pandals. The gate, mandap and lighting for the decoration of the pandal have especially come from Chandan Nagar, Kolkata. This is the twentieth year of Durga puja of Dwarka Bangiya Samaj and preparations are almost on the verge of completion."
