New Delhi: Surajkund Mela is a unique event that showcases the richness and diversity of the handicrafts, handlooms, and cultural fabric of India. 

Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2023 is the largest crafts fair in the world. At least 20 countries & all the states of India are participating in the Mela. North Eastern Region is the theme state in the 36th Surajkund International Crafts Mela.

The Mela is a custodian of heritage crafts involving the traditional skills that are fading away due to cheap machine-made imitations, and a special section is earmarked for showcasing of these heritage crafts.

A splash of colours, rhythm of drum beats cultural evening programmes are being held at the main Chaupal during each of the Mela evening. This International Fair displays the Crafts Mela that showcases some of the most beautiful handicrafts of India. Also, one can observe the handmade fabrics that are dipped in grand colors even some interesting wooden and clay dolls are also found at this Mela. One can taste a verity of foods in Food Courts, where popular cuisines from all over the globe have been made available.
