So why not celebrate Chocolate Day by making some decadent and delectable chocolate delicacies for you and your loved ones to enjoy?

Here are delicious recipes:

Strawberries coated with dark chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz. dark chocolate
  • 6 oz. white chocolate
  • room temperature 18 medium-sized strawberries

Method:

  • Break up the dark chocolate and set it in a glass bowl. Then, either microwave it in short bursts or whisk it over a saucepan of hot water until smooth.
  • Repeat with the white chocolate until you have two bowls of smooth, melted chocolate.
  • Line two plates with a cookie sheet. Dab half of the strawberries into the dark chocolate and place them on one of the dishes to solidify. Dip the remaining strawberries in the white chocolate and place them on the second platter.
  • Once the chocolate has begun to solidify, sprinkle the white chocolate over the dark chocolate strawberries in a side-to-side motion with a spoon or a bottle with a narrow nozzle.
  • Do the same with the white chocolate strawberries, dripping with the leftover dark chocolate.
  • Allow the strawberries to rest for about 15 minutes before serving. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container and bring them back to room temperature before serving.

  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons star anise
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 14 tsp ground nutmeg

Method:

  • Begin by heating the milk in a saucepan. Combine the cinnamon, nutmeg, star anise, black pepper, and cloves in a mixing bowl. Bring the water to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low and stir in 1 1/2 tablespoons jaggery and 2 tablespoons cocoa powder. Continue to stir until both are completely dissolved in the milk.
