The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is organising a Slogan Writing (Bilingual) and an Art Work (Handmade) competition exclusively for its women commuters from 17 to 21 February 2023 to commemorate International Women’s Day which is celebrated every year on 8 March all over the world. The topic for the slogan writing and artwork competition is “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality”.
All women commuters of Delhi Metro can participate in this contest through DMRC’s website www.delhimetrorail.com. All details pertaining to the competitions are also available on the website (https://www.delhimetrorail.com/corporate). Only online entries will be accepted till 21 February 2023 (midnight). An online quiz on Twitter shall also be conducted from 17 to 21 February 2023.
A substantial percentage of Delhi Metro’s commuters comprise women who form an integral part of the system. Delhi Metro has always strived to provide a safe, comfortable, and hassle-free journey to all its women Commuters in the form of reserved seats in each coach and a separate Ladies’ coach.
The Winners of the Slogan Writing and Art Work will be selected based on the expression of thought, use of language, adherence to a word limit, relevance to the theme, etc. The winners of the Twitter Quiz shall be the first person tweeting the correct answer. The results of the competitions will be announced after 21 February 2023. The selected entries will be facilitated with a certificate of appreciation and a suitable prize.
