Red, juicy, and sugary, strawberries are a summertime favorite. They provide a good amount of vitamin C, manganese, potassium, and folic acid (B9). Perhaps beneficial for heart health and blood sugar regulation, strawberries are packed with antioxidants and plant elements. These berries are most popular when eaten fresh but they also work well in several sweet preserves and baked goods.

Milkshake with strawberries

The strawberry milkshake, with its tart and sweet flavor and rich and creamy texture, is one of the most traditional and healthful drinks in the world.
Sugar and fresh strawberries, along with a splash of milk, are blended in a blender. For a few seconds, roughly puree the ingredients.
Pulse again for 15 to 20 seconds after adding more milk. Blend in some strawberry ice cream and serve the smoothie cold.

Soda made with strawberries and basil

Combine strawberries, orange juice, balsamic vinegar, shredded basil leaves, and any sugar substitute.
