In India home based hair care procedures are venerable as these are extremely beneficial for women of all age group. Coconut oil, olive oil castor oil, hibiscus flower, Fenugreek powder all are proved to be effective for hair extension. We can discuss how to utilise them:

Hot coconut oil therapy: 


Pure coconut oil is extremely good to enhance the quality of hair texture and it also works magically for hair growth. You can take ten teaspoons of pure coconut oil in a bowl and make put it on a burner for 2 to 3 minutes and then massage it on the scalp and leave for 1 hour before rinsing off with a mild hair wash. Hot coconut oil will be more nourishing for the hair roots and will promote new hair. You can do it twice in a week for faster hair growth.

Castor oil therapy:


Castor oil is widely known as the growth promoter for hair. Pure castor oil is thick so you can mix little amount of pure coconut oil in it and massage the scalp very strongly so that the oil gets absorbed in it and leave it overnight. You can wash your hair with a mild  herbal hair wash on the next morning. Do it twice in a week and see the difference.

Turban therapy:


There is another very unique therapy called turban therapy for improving the texture and growth of your curls. You may massage the scalp with a combination of coconut oil and dried gooseberry or amla  powder and then dip a towel in a tub of hot water and squeeze to wrap it around your head like a turban, leave it for 10 minutes and then repeat the process for several times. Then wash your hair with a mild hair wash and see how smooth and shinning it becomes. This is kind of hair spa at home and that can ve done once in a week.

Milk and Honey:


Both milk and honey are regarded as very useful for tresses as they rich in vitamin and nutrients which are essential for hair growth. Milk contains vitamin A which is vital for hair growth and honey also contributes to texture of hair. You can massage the scalp with some one cup of milk and five teaspoons of honey mixed together. Leave it for 1 hour and then rinse off with plain water. You can do it three times a week to get the best result. 

Hibiscus flower:


Hibiscus has some properties that stimulate hair growth and at the same time it helps to gain a great volume. You may get a few number of hibiscus flower and grind them to a thick paste and mix it with little amount of coconut oil, apply it all over you hair and scalp and then leave it for 1 hour and wash off your hais with herbal shampoo. Do it once a week to experience rapid hair growth and good volume.

Fenugreek, Almond oil and Coconut oil:


Fenugreek or methi is known to be a very effective ingredient for natural growth of tresses since ancient age. Dried fenugreek powder can be mixed with coconut and almond oil for faster growth of hair. You can preserve a mixture of coconut oil, almond oil, and fenugreek powder in a bottle and apply it regularly on your scalp for an excellent outcome. It will make your curls longe, stronger, shiny and will prevent hair loss as well.

Apply Mehendi or Henna with curd:


Henna is widely accepted for extending hair length and protecting hair from any damage or hair loss. Take ten teaspoons of henna or more depending on the length of your hair and soak it overnight with warm water. Next morning add one cup of curd to that soaked henna and apply it all over your hair and scalp. Leave it for an hour or little more till the time it gets dried up. Then rinse off your locks with water first then apply some coconut oil and wash off with mild hair wash. You can follow this method once in a week.

Aloe Vera gel and olive oil combination:


Aloe Vera is a wonderful herb for both skin and hair. It works magically for your locks and it helps in extending the hair length. Olive oil on the other hand is excellent for hair growth and maintains quality. Take pure aloe vera gel and mix it with five teaspoon of olive oil and massage it on the scalp very gently. Leave it overnight and repeat it two or three times in a week.
