Summers can be extremely hot and uncomfortable. In addition, the high temperature can make you vulnerable to various illnesses and infections. During the summer, the human body often becomes dehydrated, and the immune system weakens. The presence of several infection-causing germs also increases the risk of disease due to the hot weather. Here is a list of some common summer diseases that you might catch during the summer months and how you can protect yourself from these infections:

Food Poisoning

Food poisoning is the most common disease you hear about during summer. When we consume fried, junk food, or stale food, there is a high chance of getting food poisoning, which is accelerated by the rise in temperatures. This could make us more susceptible to eating tainted food without even realizing it. The best solution is to only eat healthy food from reliable sources. Additionally, keep food refrigerated and avoid leaving it out for long periods of time.
