Noida: Parents and guardians of the students of Uttarakhand Public School, sector 56, Noida, met N.P. Singh, president of DDRWA, regarding the serious issues related to the closing of the school. The Noida authority sealed the Uttarakhand Public School due to nonpayment of the land price.
DDRWA strongly opposed the decision of the Noida authority. Sanjeev Kumar, vice president of DDRWA, informed that they requested (over the phone and WhatsApp) Ritu Maheshwari, CEO of Noida Authority to reconsider the matter and think again sensitively. Because of her verdict, thousands of children in the city were badly affected. He further stated that the authority owned every right to recover their dues, but the method chosen by them was inappropriate.
He further stated that in spite of sealing the school, the authority could take action against the school management and they had no right to harass the innocent students. They requested the Noida authority to take necessary initiatives regarding the matter keeping in mind the future of thousands of children. President of DDRWA, further added that If the problem would not get resolved then DDRWA might meet the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath to look into the matter. He confirmed that DDRWA would stand stiff until the authority reopen the school.
