Traffic Police Identifies Blackspots in Noida - Greater Noida

Noida: The traffic department of Gautam Budh Nagar has identified 11 new black spots (accident-prone zones) in the district. Earlier, 15 black spots were identified. 

According to the new list, two old blackspots in Noida and seven old ones in Greater Noida have been declared normal. Three blackspots in the Noida and Greater Noida regions remain the same as in the previous list, while five new blackspots have been added.

The traffic department identified the blackspot after three years of the survey. National Highway 24 in the Sector-58 police station area in Noida, the intersection of Sector 21/25, the Rajnigandha intersection of Sector 16, the Hajipur underpass in Sector 104, and the drain point at Sector 168 in the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway were added to the new list. The old black spots that remain on the list are GIP Mall in Noida's Mahamaya Flyover, Sector 37 and Sector 38A, Surajpur Yamaha Cut in Greater Noida, Zero Point in Knowledge Park, and Kachchi Sadak T Point in Knowledge Park.

The Gijhore Red Light in Noida, Parthala Gol Chhakar and Yamuna Expressway at Ecotech-1 in Greater Noida, Tilapta Gol Chhakar at Surajpur, Sirsa Gol Chhakar at Kasna, Bharat Dharma Kanta and Achheja on NH 34 at Badalpur, Aurangpur petrol pump on NH Manikpur in Dadri, and Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Dankaur are excluded from the list.

Traffic DCP Anil Kumar Yadav said four black spots have been set right. The traffic department will keep an eye on all these spots and monitor them all.
