People from all across Dwarka came out to protest against the recent Kathua and Unnao rape incidents of rape that have shaken the nation. People gathered at the space in front of Sports Complex, Sector 11 and raised their voice in outrage. They recited poems and gave speeches against the prevalent violence against females.
The protestors had masks on their faces to signify the symbolic silence of society on the subject of violence against women. Some of the women broke down and started crying while speaking on the subject of the condition of women in the society.
