People are consuming liquor openly outside the shops which scares off people specially the women and children.
Several wine and beer shops running in Vardhman Mall in Sector 7 has become a source of nuisance for the residents living in nearby societies.
According to the residents large gathering outside these shops is causing inconvenience to people and specially those returning home after a hard day’s work as the approach roads are crowded.

Anurag Bahl a resident of Shruti Apartments Sector 7 said, “Wine and beer shop in Vardhman Mall is the biggest problem in the area. It is the root cause of encroachment as snack vendors occupy open spaces”, he added.
RWAs of various societies in the area have sent letters to the public representatives of the area and also the Chief Minister of Delhi to look into the matter and do the needful.
K R Anand, Secretary of Shiv Bhole Apartments said all the RWAs in the area were working to get a permanent solution. “We have approached the Chief Minster.” Sine local MLA is supposed to solve such problems the residents have decided to launch a signature campaign seeking removal of the wine shops from the area.
Bhavna Gaur, area MLA told City Spidey that the issue has been brought to her knowledge and she would definitely take steps for the removal of the shop. “This is my first priority for the area and I have already taken it up with the concerned department,” she said.
