Traffic police is just taking pictures of violator’s number plates and sending the e-challan directly to their homes.
The traffic police has come a long when it comes to penalising the commuters who violate traffic rules by driving their vehicles on wrong sides of the roads.
Now, they are not stopping the vehicles which are seen plying on the wrong sides. Instead, they are just taking pictures of their vehicles’ number plates.
This way, they are now able to send the e-challan directly to the homes of the violators.
On Monday, an active citizen shot a video of a traffic police who was busy taking pictures of the vehicle’s number plates at P3 Gol Chakkar at Pari Chowk in Greater Noida.
This is a grim reminder to the violators who love to drive their vehicles on the wrong sides.
The citizen, who shot the video, informed that the traffic police has been doing this for last fifteen days.
He said, “I have seen the positive impact of this initiative by the traffic police. If it continues for next 2-3 months, it will further improve the situation on the roads. It will be successful in checking the wrong side driving.”
Have a look at the video and comment.
