One of the residents of the Sikka Karmic Greens, Sector 78 Noida, said that the girls were scared, and they had suffered minor injuries.
In a shocking incident, two minors were trapped in a highrise elevator of Sikka Karmic Greens, after the steel cable snapped.
The incident happened on Wednesday evening at Sector 78, a Noida based residential society. The minor girls entered the lift on the sixth floor and started it but instead, the elevator rushed down and halted on the second floor. It nearly took nearly 30 minutes to rescue the girls.
Residents said that the girls were scared, and they had suffered minor injuries.
The incident has caused anger and panic among the residents. They claimed that the developer has not been maintaining the elevators, which usually run out of order.
Later, some residents including, Vijeta Singh, Vijay Kumar Sinha and Bhanu Pratap Singh, have a complaint with the local police.
